Happy New Year to you all 🙂

I’m keeping myself busy writing arrangements for various groups that I run or am involved with and building up my private teaching too. I am also looking into playing more gigs this year, either with my own bands or being backed by local rhythm sections. I’m trying to get fitter and lose some of the weight I’ve put on over Xmas which was a nice and fairly relaxing time. Still recovering from several table tennis induced injuries and a dodgy elbow but trying to get a few more matches in this year than last year.

The Big Band Xmas concert was a huge success and our guests were really great too. I haven’t quite decided what the band will play for our Xmas gig at the end of this year but a plan is forming!

My sax ensemble is doing really well and their yearly concert will be on Sunday 28th June at 3pm at the Fishermen’s Club, Eastbourne. This year, the concert is all Film Music.

I’ve been a bit slow updating my gigs page but it’s now done up till the end of Feb 26. I’ll get onto it again soon and try and do a few more months. In Worksop tomorrow evening 🙂
