Hi there, I’m just about to start my teaching again and I have a new job in a local school which I am looking forward to my first day there. My groups and the rehearsal big band I run have already kicked off. We have a christmas concert to prepare for with the big band, at Splash Point Jazz Club Eastbourne. More of that nearer the time but make a note of the date and time – Dec 13th 8pm start (doors at 7.15pm). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lots to organise; arrangements for sax and improv groups, booking rooms at colleges, fixing up students timetables etc. etc. I’m about a month behind on all the arrangments and transcriptions I need to do so no pressure there! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s nice to be back online with a computer that is fully functional and my new iPad Pro – it’s going to take me about a year to pay for it all but they were essential for my work \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’ve just updated as much as I can my gigs page, up to the end of the year but I have lost the files I used to make my new CD ‘Flute to the Power of 4’ so I can’t add that to my website. I can still take orders while I have some left so get in quick if you would like one of them (\u00a315 +p&p).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
