We had a fabulous Jazz Festival, the first Eastbourne Jazz Festival with me performing at the Fishermens Club and being steward, sound engineer and compere.

All the bands were great and we hope that we get good feedback from the audience. I heard a lot of comments in passing which were all positive; they seem to want it to happen again next year 🙂

My work has been cancelled so apart from a couple of jazz gigs this week, it’s all very quiet for me but I will be able to do some teaching now as I was expecting to be out of the country.

Tonight with the wonderful Sue Richardson Quintet and on Thursday with Jo Fooks and the Hugh Ockendon Trio, so a couple of nice gigs 🙂

Really enjoyed the jazz festival, Andy. I’m the woman who danced to the Latin band and talked to you about your Porgy and Bess tour. Thanks for being a part of the jazz festival organisation which this punter really appreciated!

Thanks for your support Pru, it was a fun day 🙂 xx
If you are ever in the area again, come along to our jazz club nights.
These are normally the last Wednesday of the month – we have tonight’s concert at 8pm at the Fishermens Club.
Our Xmas special gig is on the 12th December but I do recommend buying online for this concert as it might get sold out.
If you go to the Splash Point Jazz.Club website, you can buy tickets from there unless you get to our gig tonight – cheaper to buy from us as there are no extra fees.

Best wishes

Andy Panayi 🙂
